Whole Grain French Toast

  • 3 large eggs
  • 6 tablespoons low-fat milk
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. cinnamon
  • 1/4 t. vanilla extract
  • 6 slices whole grain bread
  • nonstick spray
  • up to 3 teaspoons butter (optional), for frying
